I received the Family Fun magazine yesterday. There are so many creative and fun things to do with kids online and in their magazine. And no, I don't have anything to do with the company! There are a ton of ideas and crafts, I just can't wait to start buying things and creating their playroom and bedrooms. But my hubby won't let me start decorating, painting or anything until we meet them. I totally understand it but I'm definitely not a patient person and this is killing me!

Oh... that would be so hard to wait to decorate until the referral.. things can move so fast from that point on.
Hi Jane, this is Rusty. What you two are doing is VERY admirable(I got this link from a friend of Laura's) - anyway, I know we haven't talked in years - but I am VERY happy for both of you. It sounds really exciting, and I am sure that you can't wait to get your adoptive children. I am sure it is difficult to have patience during this process. But take it from a father of one son (James - 15) and a step-father of one daughter from my ex (now 23) raising children is such a rewarding experience (and frustrating at times too, HA!). Jim, if you have Jane's love then you MUST be a really great guy! I am sure that y'all will make wonderful parents and I am looking forward to following your journey. OH my goodness, I would be going crazy not decorating yet. I guess it's great though that you'll have tons of beautiful ideas when you do come home from meeting your little ones!
